I make mugs, bowls (small-large), plates, planters, garden sculptures, flower vases, wine tumblers, figurative sculptures, ash trays (as well as additional accessories), and kitchen utensil holders.
I use black underglaze and the sgraffito technique to carve unique designs into each one of pieces. My designs will include nature of some kind, mushrooms, frogs, botanicals, bugs, spiders, etc. I also add onto the bodies of my pieces to form 3D textures and protruding elements. I like to contrast my matte black designs with shiny vibrant glazes, ensuring everything is food safe and is durable for handling.
